From 1 October 2012 The National Minimum Wage increased as follows.

Adult rate (workers aged 21 and over) will increase to £6.19.

Development rate for 18-20 year olds will increase to £4.98.

Development rate for 16-17 year olds will increase to £3.68

The rate for the accommodation offset will increase to £33.74 per week (£4.82 per day).
